Inception
SIPMA is an association of South India based “Premium Quality Paintbrush Manufacturers” incorporated during the year 2007 at Madurai by Er Immanuel Dayal Walker to help the brush makers to improve their “Paintbrush Quality” to enable them to meet international Quality standards with a aim to make them a global supply source for “Quality Products at Competitive Price”
Purpose of SIPMA
To train the members on Brush Quality and manufacturing best practices
To help them to meet international buyers and Raw material suppliers
To represent the Paintbrush industry with government and trade associations
To participate in the Trade shows to exhibit the products and offerings
To encourage the members to plan for international market participation

Brush manufacturers, marketers and raw material suppliers from the South India region are eligible to be a member upon meeting the membership criteria. At present SIPMA has around 100 members, mostly brush makers and raw material suppliers.

SIPMA is a registered association with 9 members Executive Committee that is being elected to serve for 3 years.
Meetings
Executive Committee meetings are convened every 3 months and the Annual General Meeting is conducted every year.
